Let’s call this post “Napping: A study in contrasts.”

Bella will sleep anywhere–on the couch, on the bed, in the middle of the floor. She avoids kitty beds but has been known to curl up in a random basket. Regardless, she always sleeps with one eye open. Watchfulness is required when you are in charge.

Compare this to the other two:

Genevieve and Mooster will only sleep on cuddly/fuzzy/soft surfaces–blankies, beds, the couch (but only if there is a blanket down). And they are both totally passed out, oblivious to their surroundings. Their snoring would suggest a lack of watchfulness, especially since I can hear it in the next room.

Sleepy Saturdays are the best. If only I could join them..
