Day 17: Faces

A blingy sampling of the watches in my parents’ store last year. This year, when we were at market in Dallas, my mom and I bought loads more. Like, hundreds. And then when I had my surgery, we priced them. Now they’re wrapped up tightly in bags, just waiting for the late-night frenzy of the Christmas open house.

Even though I don’t wear a watch, I am strangely drawn to the watches at the store. Every time I’m there, I want to buy one. Then again, I’m strangely drawn to pretty much everything in the store, watches or otherwise.
