Okay, first things first: my name is Christine, and I am a photo challenge junkie. Hi Christine. I know I said I was taking the month off, but I just. can’t. do it. Chantelle’s lovely list is calling to me. It is beckoning, and I cannot say no.
So. New plan. I’m going to loosely follow the April photo-a-day challenge list, and I will still try to find ways to articulate gratitude in those photos.
Sound good? Good. Glad we got that cleared up.
Day 5: Tiny
I spotted this little guy just after I got home from work. He was so small, I thought he might be a baby. But I think it’s too soon for baby birds, right? The photo is a little misleading, and I really wish there would have been another bird in the shot for scale.
As I was crouched on the floor, shooting this tiny guy, I kept thinking of that Bible verse about the sparrows.
“Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.” (Luke 12:6-7)
I’m grateful for this reminder today.
